This is a flood warning update. River levels are on the Bristol Avon at Melksham and Limpley stoke have peaked and are slowly stabilising; they will continue to remain high through Friday the 29/03/2024 until late this evening. This flood warning will remain in place throughout today. Residents are urged to remain vigilant to the high river levels and localised flooding in the Melksham and Limpley Stoke this area. Scattered showers are expected today and tomorrow but the outlook is looking more positive as we expect river levels to fall by the close of the 30th March.
