River levels have risen at the Bransford river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible this afternoon, 28/03/24. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the River Teme from Ludlow to Bransford. Locations that may be affected include Tenbury Wells and Knightwick.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next few days. We expect river levels to remain high until Sunday 31/03/24.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated by 09:00 on 29/03/24, or as the situation changes.
