River levels have now fallen following heavy rainfall yesterday, Tuesday 26th March. We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this alert if necessary. Further light rainfall is forecast today and heavy rainfall is forecast tomorrow, Thursday 28th March, which could cause river levels to rise again. We recommend that you avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses as there may still be standing water in some locations.
Our incident response staff are monitoring the situation and operating assets where necessary. We recommend that you remain aware of the forecast for the next 5 days.
